Yoga for Wellness: Strength, Mobility and Resilience

Saturday 7th March

With teachers Suzi Griffin and Pauline Cook

When asked what practice would be important for us all to take us healthily through our lives, Gary Krafstow (an esteemed yoga teacher) proclaimed that if we wish to stay appropriately active as we age, we must keep up the work yoga teaches us to do. Our neck, shoulders and upper backs, which can hold much tension, benefit hugely with an practice to maintain a good range of motion. Our lower backs, which often weaken as we age, need strength maintenance work. Breathwork doubtlessly helps not only the muscles in the ribcage and spine, but also ensures we can keep calm and mentally strong, no matter what occurs in life. This workshop will provide you with accessible and safe ways to fit this yoga practice into your routine and stay healthy for longer.
